The flare vs flowrate comparison is tricky and affected by lots of factors (including the time of day and the fact that the company will always post it looking its most impressive) so best to wait for a post-flowback stabilised rate. When I say "of the order of 1 MMscfd" that means if it was reported anywhere from 0.5 to 2 I'd consider I'd judged it accurately.

I saw the reports of "up to 2mmscfd" for T1 but that is equally vague. Any well can spike at high rates. What is important is the sustained, stabilised flow rate. Until they report that, preferably with a chart, I wouldn't read too much into it.

But anyway, with further flowback 3 MMscfd seems quite possible. But even if it does, it doesn't really mean much - there is a pretty poor correlation in the Patchawarra tight sand wells between initial flow rate and long term decline rate. They can chug along for years or they can die within a month, depending on the lateral extent of the connected sand lenses.

I thought they were continuous .

If Lenticular , any idea what the range of aerial extents of the lenses is ?

Would that have much bearing on which well style would be the most likely to be economic e.g. vertical , horizontal angled ?
