re: Ann: Tangiers terminates farm-out agreeme... The 12 October date only applies to WA-442-P. The other permit NT/P81 had an extension to 11 November. From the last presentation on page 22 it looks like most of the good stuff is in NT/P81.
It would reek of incompetence if management didn't have a Plan B well advanced already, as this scenario was looking likely for months. It became certain on 21 August when CWH announcemed they would seek shareholder approval in NOVEMBER 2013 for the farmout agreement.
This means management knew 2 months ago that the conditions COULD NOT be met in time for the 12 October expiry!
CWH will seek to hold a shareholders meeting in November 2013 to put resolutions seeking the approval for the Proposed Transaction and that deal with requirements of Chapters 1 and 2 of the Listing Rules.
