You've only got to ask yourself why are the "bankers" lower than the "analysts" - because they have real money at stake (like us shareholders) in loans and they don't leave much room for wild speculation. They put forth their risked scenarios and lend accordingly. For the bankers it is not about being "right or wrong" and for the analysts its probably more like being write, write and write some more so we can sell, sell, sell those stocks.
