But expectations for this in the share price are obviously non existent so any good news on the approvals should see a solid pop as it opens the way for more good news on a potential sale at the asset level.
Although given MKR would dearly love this to occur asap, and thus prior to any completed BFS it would have to be discounted significantly to reflect that so its hard to see that it would sell for much more than $4-5m per percentage point vs the NPV of about A$20m per 1%. They might even get lucky and get most of that as upfront cash. If they did its use might be restricted to application by TTR only and not available to pay down MKR's corporate debt pile.

I cant see a deal being done on this project in 2025

Still see a decent equity raise likely before June 30. I am sure this announcement was intended to help get the share price running ahead of that transaction. Expect a few more announcements and then BOOM equity dilution right between the eyes!
