Despite the valuation, very little positive speculation about a higher bid and today most stock traded at 23.5......2% above the bid. Usually where a higher bid or another bidder is anticipated the premium is significantly greater than 2%. I don't like it, but market action suggests 25.5 might get across the line. The board has been very quiet....can you imagine what Gerry Harvey would be saying about an unsolicited, undervalued bid for Harvey Norman? He'd be talking up the stock and the company.
