I just don't get this whole situation at this stage...
1. Never got to take advantage of that leg up from gold recently. 2. Directors recommending uptake of the offer at both 40c AND 28c equiv value. 3. We just got clearing permit. Surely that would have added a cent or two to the share price. 4. Our current market cap is only worth what it was last year. With all the boxes ticked and fundamental improvements and significant gold price increases, surely the true value of the company is more than 12 months ago! In fact, SLR see value at at least 33% higher! 5. Directors are 100% incentivised to recommend uptake of the offer by virtue of the performance rights and the options. Every director benifits significantly more than any shareholder with this offer. Would they be recommending this if the performance rights weren't vesting and the options due for expiry weren't being paid out?
Really think ASIC need to look into this offer on behalf of holders.
