If that's anywhere remotely close to being accurate it would give a bit more insight on why the Board rolled-over so quickly.
And as far as trying to extract another, say, an extra 5% in the bid price, I'd contend that SHs already have it baked-in to the current bid, and some, relatively speaking (i.e. given last week's bombshell).
