@barneydigs I thought it might be geostationary but the faq says 'The hotspot map updates every two to four hours, depending on satellite availability.'
and
'How often are hotspots detected from satellites?Hotspot detection is dependent on the frequency of satellite passes over Australia and updated several times each day.'
