One of the problems now is that in the short term at least investors attention has moved away from gold stocks. In 2020 gold was the flavour of the month and gold stocks did so well. However, now that Trump has gone (he was the best thing for gold as gold thrives on fear and unpredictability) and a COVID vaccine has been found, gold has fallen somewhat out of favour. Now investors are fixated with the EV and battery metals - Copper, Nickel, Lithium, Graphite, HPA
