If they r referring to 'this century' then in that case that it's the Exmouth sub-basin Discoveries which I mentioned earlier, developed by different JV partners with deeper pockets.
BHP-Mobil got the govt to open up that acreage in WA in the 90's & made their discoveries. WPL followed suit & discovered Enfield, Vincent & Laverda. Apache extended Vincent into their permit as the VanGogh field with 2 additional small clusters to the north of VG at Coniston & Novara.
This area basically is the playground for the Big Boys. Operators drill multi laterals wells to hoover out the heavy biodegraded oil from compartments & they brought these onstream at the right time just as Oil was rallying. See timeline below.
Enfield came onstream in July 2006,
Stybarrow - Nov'07,
Vincent - Aug'08,
VanGogh- Feb'10,
Ravensworth (Pyrenees) in March 2010,
Coniston in May 2015 &
Novara in July 2016.
Hopefully for Quadrant, Dorado could turn out 2b bigger then their 2 oil assets in WA. So 80% equity still gives them plenty of legroom to bring on a third partner onboard to share future Costs, IMHO. Time will tell how this story pans out.
