I know for a fact that many ppl in the financing game are aware of this project and have been approached even and are considering it.
one of my former employers was approached
they may even be considering it
they have a history of investing in key Australian infrastructure projects
and they have VERY VERY deep pockets
roughly they have 2 billion dollars every year to invest in Australia and abroad.
