Trading shares is about looking at opportunities and chosing to invest or not.
It takes time to decide and make an opinion.
A share forum allows you to put it out there, what you believe. It becomes a record for you future investing.
I looked at this opportunity and I chose this path, or that path.
In the future it will be revealed what is the correct path.
I will learn and be able to look back at my comments and whether I was on the path or not.
When you go against the grain you put yourself out there. You have to own the mistake, people will hold you to account and you learn. It's never a waste of time to a either prove your theory, or B disprove it.
I haven't got to the point of shorting shares yet but one day i will and I would have short this on the GM announcement.
