Think you are asking the wrong person.

My opinion though, taking into account bits and pieces that have been fed to us through company announcements, also posters on here with knowledge of government grants and along with what seems to be some further information that posters have, I think it’s not that far away.

To elaborate a bit further, a poster on here was asked why they hadn’t participated and to keep an eye out for a possible announcement just before the SPP closes. My opinion on that is they were going to try stimulate some late uptake, to get as many dollars as possible. I believe they’ll take every dollar they can get.

Why? I see it as a prerequisite for some of the government grants given the information that has been disseminated on here about grants. A possible dollar for dollar matching on the cards and the more dollars we have will help with the grant(s).

When will that take place, well once again I’ve gleaned from other posters that we might see this very soon around budget time. 11 days until the budget.

As far as will they announce further about EV1? I get the distinct impression that we won’t be announcing their name anytime soon, at best we will get a “major EV producer” announcement. I understand commercial in confidence, but F me we put up with a lot of shite as a company. If they want CIC then pay for the research, not just the bare minimum, but the whole lot. Our managers need to get a better deal for the company and shareholders soon.
