I was surprised and suspicious when they purchased the Aurora project.
Always be wary of a company that keeps changing direction or priorities without delivering.
I think in this case the original plan (TESS) was sound but badly implemented without the necessary "expertise".
Solar PV will require a CR but given the Aurora project location and existing approvals it's the quickest and best strategy to generate some income. Provided they don't over capitalise.
Just hope they don't spend that income flogging a dead horse.
TESS-grid never stood a chance against the short term (battery) storage competition (not with lithium prices as they are now), and certainly not against pumped hydro.
Long term storage is a losing game without some form of government influence (eg NEG).
