This placement can also be seen as very positive. Firstly its encouraging to have directors making a financial commitment to the company. Secondly its not a matter of dividing a fixed size cake - it actually makes a bigger cake. There are now more funds available to diversify and increase holdings in targeted tech companies. The more funds available the better. They seem to be being wisely invested.
There was a great opportunity only last June fo ordinary shareholders to increase their holdings at a discount price of only 21.5 cps. Incidentally, as a shareholder for many years in Thorney associated companies, I have never at anytine felt that I was at any financial disadvantage - quite the contrary.
