TLX are raising $600m

keep in mind, they could do a simple 15% placement which is not far off a Billion dollars

but they are offering $226M to Aussie investors
they are offering the other $374M to overseas investors

all up circa 8% of issued cap

paying 3% yield each year to borrow the money.
and the convertible notes will convert at the price agreed tonight plus 30% in 5 years' time

lets say that's $25 in 5 years time
(sidenote - id buy that for sure)

JPMorgan will enter into some derivatives trades to reduce their exposure

please recall that CB said he didn't want investors to be punished and he wanted to offer current investors chance to buy more if they wanted

no coincidence that this inclusion into ASX 100 was yesterday and this announced now.

guess it is a financial placement or sorts, bu t now in big league they have options.
but i don't believe the discount will be much or none at all ?????
and well oversubscribed given the circumstances

and again, its not a large amount
and i would assume that all will be in the money in coming days, let alone 5 years !!!!

that's just my take, but looking at the stock today, id suggest its going up

gut feel - more deals on horizon and CB got his money using a different method and i wish i was paying 3% on my loans with a growth rate of 54% or so ...
