I'm not reading too much into it. my take is pretty much as they said (or at least what I heard) in the call:
1) they had / have plenty of interest
2) but share price has recently had a very strong run (so prospective investors wanted a discount to protect themselves against a potential pull back
3) there is some general market uncertainty at the moment as well
4) the company doesn't need the money it's more of a long term strategic thing
5) so the company has the ability to say "we don't need to do this now"
