The CU6 story is interesting. It looks like they're making good progress on their trials, so we'll see how things pan out for them.

I'm a bit leery of this thing where they pick out a single patient and say "look his cancer is gone!" It strikes me as just a bit.... selective. At the same time, I'm not ruling them out, maybe their product will turn out to be superior.

At the same time, I am also intrigued by the emerging intimations of "Illucix 2.0." This was originally just a throwaway line by CB and is now part of the official timeline for the company. What is it? You would imagine it also targets prostate cancer (why would you give it that name otherwise), and if the usual rules apply, it would lead to a therapy product down the line. Will this turn out to be relevant to CU6 and other competitors for that matter?

I am still not impressed by CU6's focus on being a copper only product. I would have thought that being open to a wider array of isotopes gives you more scope, firstly to the emitted particle energy (and even more fundamentally what the particle is!), but also to the chemistry when binding to the organic component.

Anyway, given that an NDA is supposed to be lodged for "Illucix 2.0" this year, I would hope at some stage we'd get some idea of what it is. CU6 advertises that it has two PSMA binding motifs. Maybe Illucix 2.0 will have 4, so they can play haemoglobin-style tricks with the isotope release. There you go, that's my guess.
