From today's Wall Street Journal: "U.S. public companies are holding back payments for an average of 56.7 days, longer than any point in the past decade"
As Dubber mainly deals with large companies, they are experiencing longer delays between booking revenue and receiving the cash. This issue is currently a political hot potato in Australia. Very recently, Telstra announced under pressure that they would move to make prompt payments within 30 days in future, after getting much criticism for their previously very long payment delays for smaller companies.
This is one reason for growth in cash receipts lagging growth in contracted recurring revenue. At least future cash payments by Telstra will be quicker now, even if the large US companies are still screwing their smaller suppliers.
