You got it wrong, I think. By my calculation, a $3.37 ff dividend equates to about $4.81 grossed up, not the $5.73 you have. I get $4.18 for a grossed up $2.93 dividend.
As for the capital component, the capital gains tax discount doesn't come into it as you will have made a capital loss given the share price has never been that low. You can offset the capital loss against capital gains made elsewhere.
