When people looking for cheapest price, quality and coverage is not their main concern so Telstra dont need to go after this market these people can go to Vodafail and NoOptus, this end of the market has low margin, dont pay up for quality but scream and shout when there are issues.
Just like iPhone, Apple dont target people who buying cheap mobile phone that cost $300 or $400. There is no margin at this end of the market
Telstra just need to provide top quality mobile network and people will to pay for them at a premium
