Yr foxtel may stop on cloudy days no comparison to starlink. I'm sure the navy doesn't avoid clouds especially as starlink continues development. Laser connectivity (real time) to ground or relayed to other leo satellites then to ground or as meo developed relayed from meo satellites to ground using recently developded smaller more efficient reception dishes combined with teleport infrastructure. etc etc 4 critical parts of any communication co,mobile,fixed land fibre,fixed sea fibre and absolutely without doubt only elon's leo satellite constellation ,viasat is no competition.And tls is in bed with viasat then u can worry about clouds. China is the competition. etc etc all imo.
