I'm no expert on this but the Medi. Tec.sector is expanding rapidly worldwide and properly not a bad space to occupy, where TLS can leverage its interactive communication network. The deal is hardly material for TLS in terms of $ outlay . However I agree with other posters in that Telstra does not have a good track record with M&A's . Sounds like they are building a diverse platform separate from the traditional communication infrastructure. Just hope they can execute this a lot better than other ventures....time and the SP will tell.
