The way I see it, I would have loved an increase in the dividend. However, the NBN rollout could be stopped if there is a snap election. If Thodey announced an increase in dividend today and the NBN was stopped, there'd be trouble. We did get a sniff of increased divies by 2014. Until then, 8-9% fully franked is still good if the share price doesn't get smashed.
