Management likely suspected it during market trade but didn't want to disclose this administrative error until 8.30pm. Otherwise it would have been messy.
I like the words, "we are not aware that the speech has been made public". Meaning, "we are not aware it got right down low to the mum and dad investors during trading, but it is likely the privy got hold of it".
Of course you know there was leakage. So just own up.
