I concur with this. We have all heard of govt bureaucracy but when it comes to procurement it’s a whole new level of bureaucracy. It’s nearly impossible to get new projects that has not been at least hinted in the 4 year budget plan (talking about big buildings requiring a few $10k investment)
However some ground work can be done with facilities manager and cfos get them interested may be put in it in their plan. It will take time but on the upside once 2 or 3 govt buildings has it and shows benefits, others will use it as economic case and roll out after that will be quicker.
