I think the write downs will come when Labor wins government. They will blame it all on Turnbull/Abbott's "copper NBN" aka Fraudband. Telcos will hopefully get some relief then.
Seeing Turnbull make useless statements on the Telstra layoffs on TV this morning was a joke. It's YOUR FAULT Turnbull, you have pushed NBN margins so much (to get that early sale) that these companies are getting hammered.
