I agree, this deal itself is not worth much from a monetary growth point of view, it's really just a tit n bum announcement, there's no money shot here.
But I do believe we've cleared a substantial hurdle with this. We now have a distant relative of the Telstra hierarchy taking notice. Approximately 12 months ago MGM failed in an attempt to enter the Telstra shop chain through its franchisees, Telstra soon knocked that on the head and appeared to show no acknowledgement of spacetalk whatsoever.
This particular deal may not be much to celebrate but it may one very important step in trapping a foot in the door.
