re: Ann: Telstra's Half Year Results Anno... The CEO was not too impressive today - continues to send out mixed messages. All day in press (TV & written) saying the NBN negotiations are complex and will take time. Yet he is now cancelling his trip this weekend to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to "focus his energies on returning Telstra to top line growth and forging a deal with the government that will guarantee the transfer of the telco's traffic to the NBN to avoid being forcefully separated and divested of key assets" (The Australian today). Either negotiations are proceeding faster than he suggests or someone is kicking his behind to get things moving
