My calcs suggest TLS has effectively risen 4c today - assuming stock down 16c. Gross dividend is 20c - that is the amount shareholders will put on their tax return for this year. There will be a 6c credit elsewhere on that return recognising the income tax paid by Telstra before distributing the dividend.
So performance today not so bad - not good either.
