Just read the planning approval for Dargues and the facility was designed for a 1 in 100 year rainfall event, sediment trap designs were increased by the Department’s recommendation and full audit required.
Dargues doesn’t use cyanide.
Any runoff issue is likely to be a sediment or turbidity issue. Not downplaying that, but has anyone checked Sydney Harbour or any Creek etc recently? They are breaching records and the water is extremely turbid.
