Personally, although far from the portfolio I'd put together, I'd happily pile into that long portfolio at a >20% discount to NTA. Not sure how they've performed so poorly with a reasonable portfolio. The shorts are obviously kept under wraps but must be performing badly.

Also what NTA does ALF have to get back to, to recognize performance fees? Do they have a high water mark or does it reset each period?
