There are a few opportunists here too me's thinks.
I think people need to stop looking at cannabis from the Cheech & Chong perspective but instead with an open mind.
It is a plant afterall?-Yes
Aren't many pharmaceuticals or medicine derived from plants?
Try to keep an open mind. It may not cure cancer however testimonials & studies into pain relief amongst illnesses is extremely promising.
I'm not a cannabis smoker nor do I go to Sunday Church for the record .
