I don't think there's any mad rush to buy TER shares. I mean there is so many blue chips with much better balance sheets i.e. no debt serviceability clouds like TER. Many would buy an ANZ at $16 than TER, i mean even a general index fund at 4200-4400 points, you're looking at one day getting back to 7000 points. That's a good 60% gain. Say that's 6 years away, that's 10% a year, plus dividends (if any). Either way why would you buy TER?
And some UNV holders will be selling TER to just cash in to buy these opportunities, others may believe the debt will continue to spiral downwards (can't blame them, TER does have a large 200m USD + debt from memory, and besides the now consumed UNV assets they were running a loss).
I think long term if mgmt has a game plan the share price will lift, but there's a reason it's dropped from $0.60 to mid tens, and it isn't because it's a ripper of a deal necessarily.
