When the Teresa sale was announced last September the sp rose 42% on the day to $4.35, over the next few days it peeked out at $5.19 then the financial world collapsed.
Right now I'd take $4.35. ;)
or to look at it this way.
LNC current market cap is $471Million. If the sale goes through as $1.5Billion would you expect the sp to rise in proportion to the market cap???? ie x 3, sp = $1 x 3 =$3. Or is this is all very simplistic because they'll only get $150Million initially.
