I am interested in this part of the announcement:
"Both parties have been working tirelessly to complete the sale, but unfortunately the complexities of the transaction, the Chinese approval process and the current global financial crisis have delayed the completion more than we could have anticipated. That said, we have now reached a stage where neither party can foresee any further lengthy delays."
"Complete the sale..." reading between the lines this would infer that they have sold and that all that is required is for "completion" to take place...i.e. hand over the lease and collect the cheque.
"...reached the stage where neither party can forsee any lenghty delays."
Lenghty deays to what I ask?? Completion of a sale or the detail of an actual sale subject to...?
This announcement contains a lot of double meaning if you ask me.
Still hoping for the best and this announcement does appear positive on the face of it. Just don't read it too cafefully...lol
