Also recall that in 2019 Danakali received the proceeds of the first tranche of its US$50 million strategic equity investment from Africa Finance Corporation and the price of the AFC was A$0.60 at the time. It's hard for me to imagine that the AFC, which has to agree to a "deal", would accept a loss here. Of course, it depends on the details and content of the offer, but it is entirely possible that the offer could be at this price level. It also cannot be ruled out that there could be a bidding competition following this offer.
