I reckon the reason for this was due to a change in upper management for Pizza Hut.
Wayne McMahon only started as Australian Pizza Hut CIO 8 months ago while dragontail put out their first Australia Pizza Hut announcement at the end of January 2019 i.e just before he started Wayne started. Dragontail likely had to re-pitch their product to a new manager.
