Payments player Tyro has been hit by service outages locking up as many as 10,000 EFTPOS terminals and the company admits they may not be able to get them back online for customers until the end of the week.
Tyro is the largest provider of EFTPOS services outside of the big four banks, providing services to more than 32,000 small-to-medium business customers including around 60,000 point of sale payment devices.
