We have thirteen Tyro terminals across three business sites. We were fortunate in that only two of them died. Amtek collected those terminals on Saturday and replacements arrived this morning. I feel for those businesses that have only a single unit but do feel that Tyro has been quite expedient given the sheer volume of terminals being returned and programmed. Both replacement units came fully programmed and we simply had to plug and go (till integration and all).
Ive been looking for an entry into tyr for months and finally got in at 2.70 this morning. I believe the merchant business is far too sticky for many clients to ultimately move elsewhere and Tyro is far better than any bank setup we've used previously.
