I completely agree Biag. The institutions will not need our help to change things. They will be in a better position to vet and setup a new board of directors amongst a list of other things. But I think what we can do is provide a push. Several of us have contacted JA over the past 18 months and little to nothing has changed in his behavior nor management. To me this shows lack of consideration and respect for us as shareholders and that he believes he can do whatever or bare minimum for the company and we will just take it. As untouchable as he seems to think he is, he is NOT. As managing director he should be providing leadership and vision to the company and it’s shareholders. But with MAN there’s no coordination or teamwork. Just Jimmy looking out for Jimmy.
So that being the case, I’ve got about 2-3 weeks left of tolerance. I’m going to see if he pulls a rabbit out of his hat which at this point you all know the likelihood of that happening. Then after that, I’m going to start compiling many of the contradictions, changing of objectives, and flat out lies he has told in the past 18 months (many of which have recently been identified by
@FD20) and email them & other concerns to the major institutional holders. The amount of “work” and announcements that has greatly decreased since the CR and his self awarded raise is unacceptable. So SB1 since you seem to be his mouthpiece or him for all we know, you can let him know I’ll be CC’ing him when I send the email initially emails to Sandhurst, BNP, Citicorp, Martini 29, Loktor, etc. but after that any other correspondence he will be left out. The only option for to me in this matter is JA turns over a completely new and different leaf to then start working/communicating with shareholders, 2 he realizes he’s a lame duck as a MD and resigns, or 3 he waits to suffer the embarrassment of the big boys pushing him out and firing him. One way or the other, should be an interesting end to the year for MAN.
