AGL has different goals than PE. No carve up to flog off or a classic pump and dump. PE look for exceptionally good short term value.
AGL will be viewing this as a long term strategic play and there are not many other businesses that offer the infastructure and the ability to leverage their own product to established customers. Could even use consumer as a loss leader if the customer bundles with Electricity and Gas.
I see lots of unlocked value for AGL that PE would have no chance to unlock.
