    It is about face and also it makes perfect strategic and financial sense. Putting aside sentimental value, it is dirt cheap to get in now with booming Vietnam and Chinese market. Even if he pays 55 mil USD for Aristo, that is just the construction cost few years ago.I am sure it costs more now. The Genting empire is growing. This is a perfect entry opportunity to plant a flag at Indo-china.

    Vietnam government seems to be more sensible and discerning than Cambodian one without printing casino licence. Overtime, Vietnam casino might be more valuable than Cambodia one.


    55 mil USD is really nothing for Genting. For your info, they just paid 130 mil USD for a cruise auctioned off by Malaysian government.
