Great! The doubt has now been removed, a very sensible, commercial decision. What has been the damage at our end? About $4m from memory. I would have thought that QAN as the takeover party would have worn the can for this.
26 E190's now taken and the successors at QAN (after that bloody awful Irish Hobbit) seem keen to pursue the arrangement.
Hopefully there is a nod and a wink that any charter/FIFO contract wins by QAN will be serviced by AQZ wet leases.
I'd be pretty sure the service standards of AQZ are far superior to those of QAN.
