Has the nextHERIZON trial started yet? You can't just replace Merck with someone else as pembrolizumab is owned by Merck. You also can't just replace pembrolizumab with another drug unless you change the target population. That means you have the start the regulatory and scientific process again which makes no sense.
IMU will have to cop the cost (at least 10k per patient per cycle) but everyone will be wondering why Merck pulled out. Can't be the economics as their overpaid accountants and lawyers would have gone through that prior to agreement.
I suspect more information to come out soon.
