I don't mind rolling the dice now. Plenty of doom and gloom merchants now that we're looking for a quick trade, but I am in at a low average entry and I have patience. There are hurdles no doubt. There has however been a quite clear benchmark set regarding value. Why the long face?

I'm sitting pat and see what happens. Two parties clearly have an interest and one has committed a reasonable amount of capital to acquire its stake. No need to panic or expect the world to end. That's investing....patience!
