Yes, it looks a tad high. You'd think with c. $27mn-worth of stock, Hosking wouldn't need too much incentive to get out of bed in the morning and do the job. Still, better a slightly overpaid Hosking, who knows the company backwards and is best equipped to turn things around, than someone on a lesser comp arrangement who needs six months to learn the business. Hosking may have taken the job on an 'interim' basis, but I really hope he hangs around until performance improves significantly.

Not thrilled that Newstead pulls a salary for a further six months before being eligible for equity entitlements.
