so the operative word in your original statement and what my reply was referring to is the word "need". Nothing in video or my post indicates he is confused. At the end of the day there is no need to integrate MF into the broader portfolio. However from a financial and investment position it might make better sense to do so to improve the investment case.

Not progressing MF and need to integrate are too different things. I agree MF may not standalone but to say it needs to to be integrated is not correct.
