Incase anyone needed further clarification that this was a tree shake compounded by macro factors. If the market was up or flat today and a 16% sell off occurred then yes you would be thinking leaky ship and seeing red flags, but when the All Ords Gold index is down 4.14% you take it as an opportunity to buy up on other's weak stop losses.
Perhaps the Moderna vaccine triggered a second wave of gold sell offs here like it did last week? Strange thing is the US futures are flat, maybe we're a little trigger happy this side of the equator?
