I think we would all like the FIRB to turn it down, but I have my doubts. Thales has a long standing relationship with Defence. I am not sure how much TNT is involved with five eyes as opposed to Defence and other departments. Obviously that’s the sort of stuff they wouldn’t talk about.
At least it’s getting a lot of coverage, so it might shake out another bidder….
